Who Qualifies: We would truly like to make this a Beginners State Tournament. Only wrestlers who qualified in the four Valley Tournaments qualify. Only those wrestlers who placed in the two Inter-Valley Tournaments will be seeded, all others will be drawn in.

Brackets: Sixteen Wrestlers have qualified for this tournament so all weight classes will be drawn for a 16 man double elimination bracket. These will cross bracket in the quarter finals, and go straight back from the semi-final round.

Weight Classes: Beginner weight classes for the tournament will follow the standard Little Guy weight classes. They are 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 85, 95, 108, 108-130, and 130-156. Athletes will wrestle in the weight class they qualified in either the Valley or Inter-Valley Tournament.

Medals: Medals and Certificates will be awarded to the top four placers in each weight class. Championship Brackets will be awarded to individual champions.

Hardship Cases: We understand some good wrestlers, because of family emergency or illness didn’t wrestle in the qualifying tournaments. Any coach can apply for a Hardship Wrestler by contacting Ken Hill at the address below. All cases will be dealt with on a one-to-on basis as determined consensus at the coaches meeting.
